Electronic Technician

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/electronic equipment, machinery, and manufacturing systems.
• Identify and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, mechanical equipment, and system components.
• Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software, as needed, to support technical assignments.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance team to identify and source replacement parts and components.
• Apply engineering principles, industry practices, and technical expertise to achieve operational goals.
• Perform complex technical tasks requiring independent judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure all equipment and systems meet applicable safety standards.
• Identify and report potentially hazardous equipment conditions and take corrective action as needed.
• Support the evaluation of design feasibility under varying operational conditions.
• Provide leadership support, including directing the work of others when required.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment across teams.
• Serve as backup to the Maintenance Manager as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and adhere to safety procedures and technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of electrical and electronic principles and system design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and temperature control systems.
• Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
• Working knowledge of 24V, 110V, 220V, and 480V systems.
• Experience troubleshooting, installing, and programming Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Knowledge of relay logic circuits and basic electrical circuitry.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
• Ability to follow complex technical instructions and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or related environment, or
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
