The physician associate will deliver comprehensive inpatient neurosurgical services at a Level 1 Trauma Center working day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM starting June 1st and night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM beginning September. The role focuses exclusively on inpatient care within an established team of 9 neurosurgeons and 9 advanced practice providers providing 24/7 support. Essential duties include conducting admissions and discharges, performing consultations, and serving as first assist during surgical procedures when desired, with night discharges being uncommon but possible.
