Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to ensure the accurate and timely preparation and distribution of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. The role involves a variety of tasks to support pharmacy operations and may require working overtime, holidays, and weekends. Key Responsibilities Pull and pick medications from shelving and other storage areas. Conduct accuracy checks of final preparation before pharmacist review. Fill daily drug orders efficiently and prioritize tasks as needed. Assist in processing returned drugs according to procedures. Pre-pack frequently ordered medications; label and stock inventory. Manually package materials and products. Follow applicable government regulations, including HIPAA. Maintain a clean and organized workstation and replenish stock supplies. Notify the pharmacist of any scanning issues with medication/products. Adhere to safety, attendance, and dress code policies. Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs. Qualifications Active Pharmacy Tech license OR willingness to obtain a Trainee license. Previous pharmacy experience is preferred, especially in long-term care (LTC). Skills Attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Schedule/Shift 1st Shift (Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Every other weekend (Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM / Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Additional Requirements Non-patient facing role.
