APRN Family Medicine

Florida Health Care Plans is seeking an APRN / NP to join our Edgewater facility located at 239 N. Ridgewood Ave. Office hours are Monday – Friday 8-5, outpatient only, no weekends, call is light and by telephone only. The APP will provide necessary and appropriate primary and urgent care services, within the scope of their training and experience. Responsibilities and expectations to include the following:

• Deliver patient-centered, compassionate care
• Continuously enhance clinical knowledge
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Complete documentation, billing, and coding as required by healthcare regulations and standards
• Attend staff meetings, training, and continuing education as required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Epic experience
• Great Customer Service and Communication skills with patients

Qualifications

• APRN license
• Minimum 3 years’ post licensing experience, working independently, in family medicine, urgent care clinics or a combination

• Graduate of an accredited APRN program
• DEA license
