Job Description

  • Performs routine Nuclear Medicine procedures.
  • Responsible for mentoring and training students in a cooperative learning environment.
  • Assist or oversees accreditation IAC/AC.
  • Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures including IV injections of radiopharmaceuticals, use of spect camera and computers and processing of computer generated images.
  • Keeps accurate records of receipt, disposal and administration of radioactive material.
  • Performs required Quality Control procedures on camera and equipment and document results.
  • Reviews images, documents completion of case, assembles images, requisition and file jacket for delivery to Radiologist.
