Construction Coordinator / Conveyor

Hands-on Construction Coordinator with automotive conveyor experience, strong AutoCAD and layout review skills, and the ability to lead daily shop-floor coordination meetings with contractors and leadership in a fast-paced Final Assembly environment,

1. Construction project management experience (Final Assembly or industrial environment)

2. Ability to read layouts and perform measurement checks

3. Working knowledge of automotive conveyor systems

4. AutoCAD proficiency (layout review, overlays, coordination)

5. Strong coordination & communication skills with contractors, engineers, and leadership

• Lead daily coordination meetings supporting conveyor and equipment installation

• Gather, compile, and communicate schedules, change points, and shop activities

• Coordinate with project leaders, general contractors, and upper management

• Provide high-level supervision to ensure construction guidelines and standards are met

• Manage temp storage and laydown areas for safety and efficiency

• Partner with Safety reps and contractors on Lift Plans, Safety Audits, and JSAs

• Track manpower, overlay layouts, and identify risks or change points

• Report status, projections, and top issues to leadership

• Construction project management experience

• Working knowledge of automotive conveyor systems

• Ability to read and verify layouts and measurements

• AutoCAD working knowledge

• OSHA 10 certification

• Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Able to work weekends, holidays, and shutdown periods

• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision

• Strong communication and problem-resolution skills

• Physical work environment including shop floor coordination

• OT expectations are high (up to 40%)
