Job Description


What you’ll be doing:

  • Support Battery Pack Assembly equipment development process with Site Teams and Global Teams
  • Support developing equipment specifications for vendor fabrication
  • Support developing and confirming equipment, conveyor, logistics, and team member interactions
  • Support monitoring and tracking equipment design, fabrication, and confirmation
  • Support and Lead equipment installation planning and specifications for NA Production Sites
  • Support/Lead equipment installation and confirmation at NA Production Sites
  • Support /Lead equipment countermeasures during set up and production trials
  • Engage in travel (or dispatch) to U.S., Canada and/or Mexico NAMCs and suppliers, as well as foreign travel including Japan, Canada, Mexico. Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering
  • 2+ years of Experience with Production Equipment, procurement, installation and/or confirmation.
  • 0.5+ years of Experience with AutoCAD / Autodesk including the ability to read, interpret and modify 2D drawings.
  • 0.5+ years of Experience with CATIA or equivalent 3D CAD software, the ability to read, interpret and modify 3D drawings.
  • Proficiency with MS365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TEAMS, SharePoint).
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and across multiple shifts to support tooling modification and installation projects, including 25% overtime, 12-hours shifts, weekend work and shutdown.
  • Ability & willingness to travel 50%, domestically and internationally.

Bonus if you have (Preferred):

  • Experience with Battery Pack assembly processes.
  • Experience with Assembly or Body Weld Equipment procurement or confirmation.
  • TBP Completion through Panel.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Robot experience for 3D automation.
  • DELMIA experience.
