Our well-established dental practice near Columbus in Worthington, OH is seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager to join our administrative team. Our veteran team has extensive experience in dentistry, and we are committed to creating a positive environment while delivering a true WOW experience for our patients.

We are looking for a motivated, organized professional with strong communication and leadership skills who enjoys supporting both patients and staff while ensuring the smooth operation of the office.

Schedule Full Time
Monday Thursday, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM

Duties & Responsibilities

• Present treatment plans and review financial arrangements with patients
• Coordinate scheduling for restorative treatment to support daily production goals
• Educate patients on treatment needs and payment options
• Monitor and update treatment plans within OpenDental
• Assist patients with third-party financing options
• Verify insurance information and follow up on outstanding claims
• Manage accounts receivable and send statements
• Answer phones, greet patients, and provide excellent customer service
• Work closely with the doctor and administrative team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Manage employee time cards and payroll entry
• Handle employee time off requests and scheduling
• Foster positive inter-office relationships
• Serve as compliance officer for HIPAA, OSHA, and the employee handbook
• Lead monthly office meetings

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role within a dental office
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to motivate staff and maintain a positive office culture
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable
• Experience with OpenDental preferred
