Commercial Roofer

We are growing rapidly, and looking for full-time, year-round Commercial Roofers to join our team. The roofers replace, repair, and install the roofs of buildings, using a variety of materials, including shingles, bitumen, and metal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install shingles, asphalt, metal, or other materials to make the roof weatherproof.
• Measure roofs to calculate the quantities of materials needed.
• Replace damaged or rotting joists or plywood.
• Install vapor barriers or layers of insulation.
• Spray treatment chemicals on roofs and buildings to seal them from water and weather
• Align roofing materials with edges of the roof
• Cut roofing materials to fit around walls or vents
• Cover exposed nail or screw heads with roofing cement or caulk to prevent leakage
• Use hand tools such as hammers, electric staplers, and electric spraying tools
• Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Monday - Friday: 7 am - 3:30 pm, overtime as needed.

For immediate consideration, you must:

• Be able to safely ascend/descend a ladder frequently, up to 40 feet
• Be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Want to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions
• Have reliable transportation
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience in commercial roofing systems
• Knowledge of construction safety standards; OSHA certification preferred
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to climb, lift heavy materials, bend, and work at heights
• Proven experience in roofing, construction, or related trades
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to follow direction and accept feedback
• Working knowledge of commercial roofing methods, materials, and installation techniques (e.g., TPO, EPDM, metal roofing)
• Demonstrated strong work ethic with a focus on safety, reliability, and quality craftsmanship
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams
