The facility currently has 2 full-time APP vacancies, requiring locum coverage to maintain sustainable 24/7 operations with 1 OR-capable APP and PRN support. The hospital maintains modern equipment including EPIC EMR systems and provides specialized CVICU care with dedicated floor and OR nursing staff.

The role requires comprehensive patient rounding on the CVICU, emergency department consultations, and managing all CT surgery-related cases with a 30-minute recall requirement. The clinician will handle both cardiovascular and thoracic cases, averaging 8 patients daily, while working collaboratively with 1 surgeon and 2 APPs using the EPIC EMR system. Vein harvesting certification and Georgia medical licensure are mandatory requirements for this position.
