Position: School Psychologist
Reports to: Director of Student Services and Accessibility
Employment Status: Full Time
FLSA Status: Certified

Qualifications:
- A valid license in school psychology issued by the Ohio Department of Education or the Ohio State Board of Psychology
- At least two years of successful school psychology experience is preferred
- Satisfactory criminal background check in accordance with Ohio law
Performance Responsibilities:
- Conducts intensive psycho-educational evaluation of individual children
- Submits a written report delineating the results of the evaluation and maintains psychological case files
- Serves as case manager for evaluation of students, and consults with administrators regarding due process requirements
- Participates as a member of the evaluation team for students suspected of having a disability
- Serves as a consultant in the development of the individualized educational program (IEP) as needed
- Assists, as requested, in implementing or modifying instructional strategies, classroom management procedures, intervention strategies, and follow-up activities
- Consults with the Director of Special Education to assure effective communication of needs, issues, and future trends for planning purposed
- Keeps abreast of new developments in the field through a program of continuing professional education
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
