About Your Role
The Electrical Inspector - Dallas, TX will be responsible for performing field inspections of electrical systems on active construction projects. This role ensures compliance with contract documents, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while supporting project teams in maintaining quality and schedule objectives.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma
What You'll Need to Get the Job Done
- Minimum 3 to 10 years of electrical inspection or construction experience
- Experience on aviation, transportation, or large infrastructure projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and schematics
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management tools
What Will Make You Stand Out
- ICC Electrical Inspector Certification
- NICET Certification (Electrical Systems or Fire Alarm)
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification
- State or local electrical license (Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred)
What You'll Do
- C onduct field inspections of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and low voltage systems
- Verify contractor work complies with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes (NEC, NFPA, local codes)
- Monitor installation activities to ensure adherence to approved submittals and shop drawings
- Prepare detailed daily inspection reports, documenting progress, deficiencies, and corrective actions
- Identify non-compliant work and coordinate resolution with contractors and project teams
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise related to electrical systems
- Review testing, commissioning, and energization processes to ensure system performance and safety
- Track and follow up on punch list items and support project closeout activities
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and project requirements

Salary Requirements
- 36.00 to 55.00 Per Hour
