Payrate: $41 – $45/hour + $150 PER DIEM (pay is negotiable depending on experience)

Job Summary

HWH is seeking an experienced Foreman Excavation. The Foreman is responsible for coordination and control of field labor production to ensure that assigned work is performed in accordance with contract plans and specifications. Monitors the company’s Safety Program. Conducts job-site safety meetings in accordance with existing program.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all employees on the crew.
• Ensures crew is properly staffed and that proper standards of workmanship and maximum productivity are maintained.
• Coordinates scheduling for material, equipment, subcontractors and manpower through the Project Superintendent /Project Manager.
• Ensures work rules are observed. Ensures work crew start and finish on time.
• Establishes and maintains measures to protect the security of employees and materials.
• Evaluates material and equipment on the job, anticipating changes in materials and staffing.
• Instructs crew about company policies and safety practices. Responsible for maintaining a clean job site and ensure final clean up.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
