Pool Equipment & Plumbing Technician

Aquatech Management of Long Island is seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Equipment & Plumbing Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, year-round position for someone with strong mechanical ability and hands-on plumbing experience.

This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and installing pool equipment and plumbing systems. We are looking for someone who can work independently, take ownership of their work, and deliver high-quality results in the field.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and replace pool plumbing systems (PVC, valves, fittings, etc.)

- Diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment issues (pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems)

- Perform equipment installations and system upgrades

- Identify leaks and perform plumbing-related repairs

- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard

- Communicate clearly with team members and management regarding job progress

- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment

Requirements

- 2+ years of plumbing experience (required)

- Experience working with PVC plumbing systems

- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently without constant supervision

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions

Preferred (Not Required)

- Experience in the swimming pool industry

- Knowledge of pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems)

- Experience with leak detection and repair
