Facilities Technician 4 (Shifts)

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Support Department, contributing to the seamless operation of multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: Andover, MA

Pay Range: $43-45/hr

Whats the Job?

• Monitor operation of refrigeration, HVAC, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, and related equipment
• Respond immediately to system alarms, troubleshoot issues and take appropriate corrective action
• Log complaints, status updates, and follow-up actions in CMMS database
• Analyze system operations to determine causes of problems, make adjustments to mechanical systems and implement solutions to ensure optimal operation
• Perform preventive maintenance on building and critical system equipment

Whats Needed?

• Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License (active)
• High school diploma or state equivalent
• 2 years of related trade schooling or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience working with HVAC/mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC and refrigeration equipment
