RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to perform operations common to the toolmaker trade.
• Must be able to work from blueprints, specifications and diagrams
• Must be able to set up and operate all tool room machinery, such as grinders, mills, drills, lathes.
• Must be able to make minor repairs to machines.
• Must be able to provide and assist in training workforce in proper setup and use of equipment/systems.
• Must perform work in a safe manner, keeping tool room equipment clean and in safe working condition

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have 4+ years of experience with machines to make tooling, using manual mills, lathes, drill press, band saw and hand grinder.
• Must be able to proficiently operate all common machining equipment, mills, lathes, grinders
