Manufacturing Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine manufacturing processes for both new and existing aerospace components to improve efficiency and performance.
• Interpret and generate engineering drawings and 3D models to aid in manufacturing planning.
• Design and detail tooling and fixtures that enable consistent, high-quality, and efficient production.
• Prepare and maintain Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWIs) along with supporting technical documentation.
• Plan and organize manufacturing operations with an emphasis on quality, cost-effectiveness, and productivity.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams-including Design Engineering, Quality, and Production-to ensure successful process implementation.
• Provide hands-on technical support to the shop floor by troubleshooting issues and promoting continuous improvement.
• Support the adoption of Lean Manufacturing practices and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Use NX CAD software to create, update, and review models and tooling designs.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing engineering role within the aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D modeling.
• Experience in planning manufacturing sequences, designing fixtures and tooling.
• Experienced with NX CAD platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to program and contract compliance requirements.
