Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality products while maintaining cost efficiency and meeting established performance, quality, and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing processes, productivity, and product quality while reducing operational costs.
• Monitor departmental performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and minimize waste.
• Develop and manage employee work schedules, including shift assignments, to maintain optimal staffing levels and support operational needs.
• Oversee maintenance planning for production equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to maximize output and reduce non-productive time and material waste.
• Participate in operational and management meetings, providing updates and contributing to strategic decision-making.
• Communicate policies, procedures, and expectations clearly to team members to ensure compliance and alignment.
• Ensure accurate completion of required documentation, including incident and injury reports, in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Identify and report safety concerns, supporting the implementation of corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment.
• Escalate operational challenges, employee concerns, and departmental issues that may impact productivity or team morale.
• Review and validate employee timekeeping records daily, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Enforce adherence to proper recording of production and labor data.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operational objectives.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and productivity.
• Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance.
• Technical or trade background, including experience with similar equipment, graphic arts, or formal technical training, is preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent walking, reaching, and overhead work, with occasional climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work in environments with noise, moving machinery, and exposure to chemicals, with adherence to required safety equipment such as hearing protection and safety-toe footwear.
