Brown & Brown is seeking a Receptionist/Mail Room Clerk to join our growing team in Bethlehem, PA .

In this role, you will process all incoming and outgoing mail accurately and efficiently, maintain and replenish office supply inventory, support general office functions, and provide backup coverage for front desk/reception duties.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Open and scan incoming mail to appropriate individuals in a timely manner.

  • Maintain sufficient funds in the postage meter.

  • Maintain and organize office supply inventory; monitor levels and reorder as needed.

  • Pick up and distribute interoffice correspondence at least twice daily.

  • Scan incoming faxes and route to the appropriate recipients.

  • Monitor the Mail Room email inbox and distribute correspondence accordingly.

  • Sort, process, and apply accurate postage to all outgoing mail, including overnight shipments; ensure mail is ready for scheduled pickup.

  • Assist with office support tasks such as photocopying, bulk mailing preparation, and printing/mailing certificates of insurance.

  • Serve as backup Receptionist , including:

    • Greeting and directing visitors

    • Answering, screening, and routing incoming calls

    • Monitoring visitor checkin/out

    • Providing general front desk support to ensure professional office operations

  • Maintain a daily log of all checks received in the mail.

  • Perform additional duties as needed.

  • Fulfill toner replacement requests and maintain toner inventory.

  • Distribute overnight packages received at the front desk.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to learn and utilize the agency management system.

  • Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds for stocking and unpacking materials.

  • Pleasant, professional phone manner.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to interact with internal employees, vendors, and visitors in a professional manner.
