The nurse practitioner must be comfortable treating a wide range of conditions from routine primary care to acute urgent care situations, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with nurses, paramedics, and EMTs to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the specialized correctional healthcare delivery framework.
