Quality Control Manager-Construction

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and uphold quality control standards, procedures, and protocols.
• Verify that all materials conform to PennDOT, PTC, and other applicable industry specifications.
• Maintain accurate QC records, certifications, test results, and related documentation.
• Lead, supervise, and provide support and direction to QC personnel.
• Ensure each production site is staffed with appropriate QC coverage for testing and production support.
• Investigate and resolve material performance issues, providing corrective action recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Review QC data and production reports to identify trends, root causes, and areas for process improvement.
• Recognize and act on opportunities to increase accuracy, efficiency, and overall effectiveness of QC processes.
• Collaborate closely with production, dispatch, transportation, and sales teams to maintain mix design accuracy and product consistency.
• Coordinate material testing schedules, inspections, and equipment calibration to ensure compliance and reliability.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years QA Technician experience and 5 years QA management experience.
• Ability to build professional relationships with inspection staff.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Quality Control Technician: 3 years (Required)
• NECEPT Asphalt Plant Level 2 Certification (Required)
• PennDOT Certified Aggregate Technician (Required)
