We are seeking to hire a Pediatric Dental Assistant for our dental practice team!

Our office is seeking to hire a Pediatric Dental Assistant who is comfortable communicating with children, and their parents.

Compensation Package - Based on Experience - Open to Negotiation

Schedule -

Pediatric Dental Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for dental hygiene by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping patients.
• Record treatment information in the patient's chart.
• Examine patients mouth for oral health, OHI, and provide the following treatment as instructed and approved by the dentist:
• Perform 4 and 6 hand assisting Perform Prophy
• Take x-rays
• Apply sealants
• Complete chart notes
• Answer questions and provide parents or guardians with information about patients oral health, treatment, and hygiene.
• Communicate and work alongside dental staff to provide the patient with a high level of care.

Pediatric Dental Assistant Requirements and Qualifications

• Certificate or Dental License
• Sealant Certified
• X-ray certified
• Strong interpersonal/relationship skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Positive attitude and demeanor
• Team Orientated
