Bridge Specialty Group is seeking Data Analyst to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, or Denver, CO.
This highly visible and important position is responsible for working on the Bridge Specialty Group Data & Analytics team. We are seeking a talented and creative Data Analyst to transform data into meaningful insights. You will be responsible for working with the Arrowhead Intermediaries Data Leadership team, Wholesale Leadership, Operations, and Subject Matter Experts in developing our data strategy and executing project initiatives that will make us successful in ensuring we are a data driven organization. You use and present data to drive key data insights and can tell compelling stories about the value of data. You can analyze large, unstructured datasets and find commonalities to achieve goals. You will be responsible for data analysis and partnering on roadmap development to ingest data elements and work towards golden record data as part of a team that funnels up to Arrowhead Intermediaries. You will interface with multiple aspects of the business on a regular basis, will interface with senior leaders as necessary.
How You Will Contribute:
- Experienced in analyzing large, unstructured datasets and delivering meaningful insights.
- Strong ability to approach data with a businessfocused mindset to uncover opportunities and solve problems.
- Skilled at presenting complex information in clear, accessible ways to nontechnical audiences.
- Proficient in developing reports, visualizations, and strategic recommendations driven by data analysis.
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Translate business questions into data analysis and clearly communicate findings
- Partner with business, product, and technology teams to support strategic initiatives
- Document data definitions, methodologies, assumptions, and processes
- Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed
- Experience relevant to helping create success measures (e.g. A/B testing, inferential statistics, cost benefit analysis, Lean, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to envision and provide analytical support for potential future state of data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to transform data into actionable items for process improvements, engineering, and automation
- High level of proficiency in data analysis, statistical inference, and data manipulation, pattern recognition etc.
- Demonstrated aptitude for data analysis for the purposes of data audits between databases
- Develop and improve current workflow processes to improve current data quality and ability to capture critical fields
- Ability to integrate multiple internal data sources and develop logic for data-driven insights
- Identifying data gaps to effectively run data analysis and suggesting improvements in data quality
- Strong SQL skills, including experience with complex queries and performance tuning
- Knowledge of database design and data modeling concepts
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting platform
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering degree preferred
- Three to five years' experience in a similar position
- Experience in Finance or Insurance is a plus
- Agile or Scrum experience a plus
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
- Ability to work in-office 2 days a week
Pay Range
$90k - $100k AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
