The facility operates a 25-bed intensive care unit providing comprehensive critical care services for adult patients requiring advanced life support interventions. The hospital maintains state-of-the-art ICU monitoring equipment and life support systems with dedicated nursing staff and anesthesia support available 24/7. Coverage is needed due to a vacancy, with credentialing taking approximately 90-120 days and preference for candidates holding Kentucky licensure.

The clinician will provide comprehensive critical care coverage in a 25-bed intensive care unit, working 12-hour day shifts with night call responsibilities following a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation. Primary responsibilities include managing critically ill adult patients requiring intensive monitoring and performing essential procedures such as intubations, chest tube insertions, and central and arterial line placements. The position requires board certification in Critical Care Medicine, current ACLS certification, and demonstrated ICU experience with proficiency in EPIC EMR documentation. The clinician will collaborate with nursing staff and medical assistants while maintaining 24-hour critical care coverage with anesthesia support readily available on-site.
