Salary Range: $21.00/hr.

Position: CUSTOMER SERVICE REP.

Description:

AmeriStaff is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for a leading materials manufacturer dedicated to enhancing quality of life. This position is located in Martinsville, VA. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree and have prior customer service or sales experience.

BENEFITS OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE:

Monday-Friday schedule

Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Pay: $21 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE:

Create and maintain customer files

Answer incoming calls, process orders, and generate invoices

Maintain strong product knowledge and stay informed on competitor offerings

Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues

Present pricing, credit terms, and conditions in line with company policies

Process customer warranties and returns

Monitor promotional pack inventory and assemble additional packs as needed

Support Outside Sales Representatives

Cross-train in production planning to assist with physical inventory counts

Cross-train in shipping to support order fulfillment

Uphold all safety policies and procedures

Complete special projects as assigned by the manager

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE:

Bachelor's degree required

Previous customer service and/or sales experience required

Experience with Salesforce and SAP

Strong communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer skills
