Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role leads manufacturing teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, collaborates with cross-functional departments, and ensures production goals and quality standards are consistently achieved.

As a Manufacturing Manager, You Will:

• Organize and direct manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and quality standards
• Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing supervisors and staff to build a high-performing team
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as cycle time, build completion, defects, downtime, and repair metrics
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and operational standards
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and finance teams to resolve manufacturing issues
• Represent manufacturing in design review meetings and leadership discussions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve production efficiency and reduce costs
• Utilize quality systems such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to improve processes
• Assist with development and management of manufacturing budgets and cost control initiatives
• Oversee equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Maintain a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence
• Prepare and present manufacturing performance reports to leadership

Skills/Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership or management roles
• Strong background in manufacturing operations, quality systems, and production planning
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement initiatives
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to make data-driven operational decisions
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional departments
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems
• Experience with ISO or other industrial quality management systems preferred
• DFM (Design for Manufacturability) experience preferred
• Knowledge of robotics or automated manufacturing technology preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field preferred
• Master's degree a plus
