DRC Lifeguard Recreation Salary Schedule: Category D; step 1: $17.41 SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring the safety of the facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned Responsible for safety of the facility patrons Responsible for the supervision of the life-guarding staff Enforces all of the facility's policies, rules and regulations Responds to patron inquiries and concerns Supervises the general care and cleaning of the facility and the maintenance and minor repair of equipment Inspects the facility on a daily schedule and reports any unsafe conditions and equipment to the facility manager immediately Maintains records, reports and information regarding the following: hourly patron attendance, water chemistry, daily weather conditions, and incidents Plans and provides for the pre-season and in-service training of the life-guard staff Schedules life-guard staff Performs life-guard duties Carries out additional duties as assigned by the facility manager MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: CPR/1st Aid Certificate; Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate To Apply: ccsd1.org For additional information contact Nick DeWitt, Recreation Director, at ...
