Your Role as a Dental Assistant:

Chairside Excellence: Provide exceptional chairside assistance to students, residents, and faculty.

Expertise in Digital X-rays: Ensure accurate diagnoses through proficient use of digital X-ray technology.

Operational Efficiency: Maintain dental supplies and equipment, ensuring seamless operations.

Patient Comfort & Safety: Monitor oral sedation and anesthesia procedures, prioritizing patient comfort.

Preparation & Organization: Efficiently prepare operatories and instruments for scheduled procedures.

Adherence to Safety Protocols: Maintain strict infection control protocols in line with OSHA regulations.

Sterilization & Dispensing: Assist with sterilization processes for optimal operational efficiency.

 

What We're Looking For:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Experience Levels:

Level I: 1-2 years of dental assistant experience or AA Dental Assisting Program completion.

Level II: 2-4 years of experience or AA program completion and 2 years of experience.

 Level III: 4+ years of experience, AA program completion with 3 years of experience, or foreign-trained dentist.

Preferred Qualifications: Expanded Duties Certificate, Radiology Certificate (or ability to obtain within 90 days), experience with EHR systems, and dental terminology (preferably Axium).
