Local CDL A Driver - Touch Freight - $31 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Rutland, VT.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

• Pay: $31 Per hour, $1,200 - $1,300 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: [Local / Regional / OTR / Dedicated]

• Freight / Load Type: Pipe, plastic pipes, valves etc.

• Handling: Heavy touch freight

CDL A Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

• Endorsements: None

• Equipment Experience: Sit down forklift experience

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes

• Transport pipe, plastic pipes valves etc. in accordance with DOT and company safety standards

• Perform required handling tasks including heavy touch freight

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
