Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a full-service companion animal hospital in Fountain Valley, CA, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital is committed to providing high-quality veterinary care throughout each patient's life, from preventive care for young pets to advanced treatment and surgery for aging companions. The team takes pride in treating every pet as their own and fostering a supportive, family-like environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 8:30am to 2:00pm. It is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing excellent general practice care, including preventive medicine, wellness exams, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Responsibilities also include diagnostics, allergy care, geriatric medicine, puppy and kitten care, and urgent cases during regular hours. Surgical duties may include spay and neuter, C-sections, ocular procedures, orthopedic surgery, and dental surgery. This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a wide range of services, including preventive care, wellness exams, dentistry, diagnostics, internal medicine, geriatric care, puppy and kitten care, allergy testing and treatment, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, cold laser therapy, and boarding. The facility is equipped to manage both routine and advanced medical needs in a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
