Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian position. This is a full-service small animal hospital and boarding facility serving its local community and is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join a collaborative, well-established team delivering high-quality companion animal care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. Emergency services are provided during regular operating hours. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with some flexibility and potential opportunities to support nearby locations if desired.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to experienced veterinarians. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for comprehensive patient examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning, as well as performing medical and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include client communication and education, accurate medical record keeping, pharmacy and controlled substance compliance, and active participation in hospital rounds. The role also supports teamwork and operational efficiency while collaborating with hospital leadership to maintain high standards of patient care from intake through discharge.

The hospital has been serving its community since 1966 and provides a wide range of veterinary services for cats and dogs. Facilities are modern and well equipped, including an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, a state-of-the-art surgical suite, laser therapy, and stem cell therapy equipment. Services offered include wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, boarding, grooming, senior care, puppy and kitten care, cold laser therapy, diagnostics, and emergency services during business hours. The practice culture emphasizes compassionate care, strong client relationships, and collaborative medicine.

The hospital is supported by 4 DVMs and a fantastic support team, creating a welcoming, collaborative, and mentoring-focused environment where veterinarians are well supported in delivering excellent patient care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
