Daily Responsibilities:
- Utilize community resources to support clients in need
- Provide social services to individuals and families
- Offer human services to those experiencing mental health issues
- Conduct crisis intervention when necessary
- Collaborate with licensed professionals for treatment planning
- Direct Care Implementation: Delivering 1:1 behavioral interventions to clients as outlined in their personalized behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans.
- Data Collection: Accurately collecting and recording behavioral data in real-time to track progress and regressions.
- Skill Acquisition Teaching: Assisting clients in building language, social, self-help, and daily living skills through play and structured activities.
- Behavior Management: Implementing protocols to reduce maladaptive behaviors and reinforce positive, adaptive, and safe behaviors.
- Collaboration: Working under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), providing updates, and communicating with families/caregivers.
- Safety & Ethics: Maintaining client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance), ensuring a safe environment, and following ethical guidelines
- Work Settings.
- Clinic-based settings.
- Schools and educational environments.
Required Skills:
- Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or equivalent
- Experience in mental health interventions
- Ability to develop treatment plans and advocate for clients
- Knowledge of discharge planning and trauma-informed care
- Strong background in behavioral health and care planning
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in psychiatry or psychology
- Previous work in outpatient settings
- Understanding of therapeutic approaches
