Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

DirectShifts is seeking compassionate and dedicated Psychiatrists to join our team in providing comprehensive mental health care to patients in the vibrant city of Ohio.

Job Description:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and addiction.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including thorough interviews and mental status examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating psychotherapy, medication management, and other therapeutic modalities.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in psychiatry and mental health treatment through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Valid medical license in Ohio State
• Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
