About the Role

We are seeking to add an additional Quality Engineer to support and strengthen our Quality Management System (QMS) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role leads inspection methodology, measurement systems analysis, corrective action processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

The Quality Engineer collaborates closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to maintain compliance, ensure data reliability, and drive quality improvements across the organization.

This position is ideal for a technically strong problem-solver with experience in metrology, GD&T, and structured quality tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and generate formal inspection reports

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

  • Develop and maintain control plans and inspection protocols

  • Define and implement gauging methods and measurement systems

  • Support and maintain ISO 9001 Quality Management System compliance

  • Analyze process and quality data to drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality issues

  • Interface with customers regarding quality concerns and resolution documentation

  • Support internal and external audits and maintain QMS documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and relevant quality/manufacturing experience

  • 3+ years of experience in quality systems, metrology, or manufacturing quality

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards

  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation

  • Experience with quality tools such as 8D, CAPA, SPC, and MSA

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CMM-based metrology

  • Knowledge of plastic injection molding or tooling

  • CAD experience

  • Prior customer-facing quality engineering experience

Work Environment

This role involves time both in the office and on the manufacturing floor. The environment includes exposure to production equipment, moderate noise levels, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Schedule

Full-time
Additional hours or occasional travel may be required based on project needs or quality investigations.
