Medical Director Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs and is hiring for a Lead Veterinarian. This hospital has been a trusted cornerstone of pet healthcare in Missouri City, Texas since 2008 and holds an impressive 4.8-star Google rating.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position, with doctor hours open to discussion. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. Specific scheduling, weekend coverage, and any flexibility can be discussed further.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian and encompasses the full scope of general practice responsibilities alongside leadership duties. Your daily practice will involve a wide spectrum of services including Wellness and Prevention, Testing and Diagnostics, Advanced Care, Surgical Procedures, and critical Urgent Care. In addition to delivering high-quality clinical care, you will take on leadership responsibilities within the hospital.

The hospital is AAHA accredited and dedicated to providing the highest caliber of comprehensive veterinary care and urgent services to the community. Accreditation mandates superior standards in areas such as diagnostic imaging, anesthesiology, and emergency services, ensuring access to established protocols and cutting-edge resources necessary to practice high-level veterinary medicine.

Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs supported by a well-trained team of support staff and a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager, fostering a strong clinical environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
