Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join their team. Treating cats, dogs, and exotics (if desired), this hospital is looking for a passionate ER clinician to help grow their emergency care service. Located in the heart of Clinton Township, Michigan, the hospital stands as a beacon of advanced veterinary care, operating from a state-of-the-art facility designed with an emergency room focus in mind. They are seeking a veterinarian who is eager to be part of a dynamic team where collaboration and excellence in veterinary medicine are at the heart of everything they do.

Working Hours / Rota
Doctor hours are open to discussion, with options including three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts. The ideal schedule would fall between Thursday and Monday, and the role is overnight only. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, offering flexibility depending on the candidate's preference.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves the full scope of ER responsibilities, providing exceptional emergency medical care to a diverse caseload of small animals, and potentially exotics for those open to seeing them. The Emergency Veterinarian will collaborate closely with a skilled team of veterinary professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, while communicating effectively with clients to discuss treatment plans and provide updates on patients' progress. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is confident handling a wide range of urgent and critical cases within an emergency setting.

Practice Details
The hospital operates from a large, open, state-of-the-art facility designed with an emergency room focus. It is well-equipped and offers a comprehensive range of services including surgery, wellness care, digital x-ray, ultrasound, echocardiogram, and more, alongside the full scope of ER services. The team prioritizes patient comfort and efficient care delivery, ensuring every pet receives the highest standard of medical attention in a modern and inviting environment.

Team
The team consists of 10 DVMs supported by a great team of supportive staff, fostering a collaborative environment within the hospital.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
