Project Coordinator

We are seeking an individual that is self-motivated, has a good sense of humor, does not take themselves too seriously and is able to work effectively under pressure with composure and focus. This individual will join our underground site utility team in a purchasing and project coordination capacity. We prefer a candidate with a construction background. Underground utility knowledge and bilingual capabilities are a plus. Interested candidates should meet the following criteria:

· Ability to work hand in hand with estimators and project managers to procure materials for job start-up and throughout the duration of projects.

· Acquire and submit all material submittal documentation for new projects.

· Track heavy equipment locations and mobilizations.

· Authorize and issue purchase orders and approve all subsequent invoices for material purchases and equipment moves.

· Work and track purchases within an automated purchase order and data base system.

· Prepare reports and participate in weekly scheduling and project coordination meetings to facilitate projects running smoothly.

· Ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently and have the capacity to handle deadlines and prioritize tasks.

· Ability to effectively plan their own work load while working with multiple departments and following established procedures.

· Possess an astute attention to detail as well as the capability and willingness to follow through to completion on all aspects of the position

· Solid problem solving skills with a commitment to organization and accuracy.

· Proficiency in Microsoft office is necessary with the ability to compose emails as well as build and maintain spreadsheets.

· Professional verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

· Maintain official project documentation and correspondence in a professional manner.
