- Create a classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and a growth mindset.
- Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance instruction and student engagement.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Valid Indiana teaching license or certification in English Language Arts for middle school.
- Experience teaching middle school ELA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ELA curriculum, instructional best practices, and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning tools.
