Job description
Provide assistance as required by dentist while passing instruments that have been sterilized. Ultimately, you will work with a team of medical staff to ensure each procedure is a success from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for upcoming surgeries
- Chair side assisting
- Stock and clean rooms
- Wash and sterilize instruments
- Test and clean autoclave
- Xray, panorex, cone bean CT taking
- Tracking and manage implants
- Manage inventory
- Assist with patient education
- Take inventory of supplies and maintain files and records of procedures
- Reviewing patient health history
- Upholding a safe and clean working environment by complying with OSHA infection control policies, emergencies with CPR certification, emergency kit, oxygen and other emergency supplies.
Requirements
- Dental or Surgical Experience required and ability to multi-Task
- MA Dental License Required
