The essential job responsibilities of the Water Treatment Operator 2 includes working inside and outside pumping stations, providing support to Water Treatment Operator 1's, Inspect/service remote controlled pumping stations; record meter readings; replace chlorine, fluoride and phosphate and adjust chemical dosage as needed; operate pumping stations manually when needed; receive/unload chemicals; extract data from the Human-Machine lnterface (HMl) to create reports; and service Backwash Monitoring Stations.
Qualifications Qualification Requirements:
To perform the Water Treat Operator 2 role, you must:
-Possess a Tennessee Grade IV Water Treatment Operator license
-Possess valid driver's license from state of residence
Physical Working Conditions:
Work in proximity to high voltage and areas exposed to dust, dirt, odors, noise and the presence of chemicals. Climb over obstructions, bend, stoop or otherwise work from an awkward position in order to inspect or repair equipment located in a hard-to-reach spot. Work inside and outside under all conditions. Subject to the hazards of weather.
