Rivet is recruiting for a Small Bore Stainless Steel Welder for an immediate project in Alexandria, VA. This role supports fabrication and installation of stainless steel piping systems and is ideal for welders experienced in precision TIG welding on small diameter pipe.

This is a project-based opportunity with strong overtime availability.

Pay: $37/hour
Per Diem: $700/week
Hours: 50+ hours per week
Duration: 5+ weeks

Responsibilities

Perform GTAW (TIG) welding on small bore stainless steel piping systems ranging from " to 2" diameter
Complete socket weld fabrication and installation on stainless piping systems
Read and interpret isometric drawings and piping specifications
Perform welds in all positions while maintaining high-quality standards
Follow purging procedures and proper interpass temperature control
Work safely while following all required PPE and safety procedures
Maintain productivity while ensuring welds meet project specifications

Qualifications

Proven experience welding small bore stainless steel pipe
Hands-on experience with GTAW (TIG) welding on stainless material
Experience with purging procedures and interpass temperature control
Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and piping specifications
Ability to produce clean, code-quality welds in all positions
Industrial piping experience preferred

Requirements

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
