PAY: $18.00 - $22/hr (based on experience and position) HOURS: Expected shifts will be 8-hour days starting at 7:00 AM SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; approximately 40 hours/week (some Saturdays required for inventory) START DATE: ASAP DURATION: Full-time, long-term position Receiving Associate Job Description: The Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, documenting, and organizing inbound shipments while maintaining inventory accuracy. This role supports warehouse operations through detailed recordkeeping, communication with internal departments, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced distribution environment. Qualifications for Receiving Associate: Accurately receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with inventory control Handle all receiving paperwork and recordkeeping Identify, manage, and return incorrect or damaged shipments Communicate discrepancies with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Sales teams Label deliveries and place materials in designated stock locations Assist warehouse supervisors with daily operational tasks Load and unload delivery trucks as needed Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving areas Operate material handling equipment including forklift, reach truck, and order picker Communicate shortages, overages, and damaged merchandise to management Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and reliable attendance Collaborate effectively with warehouse and operations teams Protect confidential company and customer information Complete assignments and attend required meetings and trainings Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Must be dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision Must have basic computer proficiency and strong math/recordkeeping skills Must obtain OSHA 10 certification Required to work occasional Saturdays for inventory Physical Requirements: Continuous standing, lifting, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling Education: High school diploma or equivalent Additional Requirements for Receiving Associate: Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site Must be certified (or able to certify) on material handling equipment Applicants are subject to pre-employment background check and drug screening Benefits: Medical Dental Vision SST IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER!
