Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited small animal practice. This well-established companion animal hospital is dedicated to delivering high medical standards and compassionate care within a supportive and collaborative environment. The practice focuses on small animal medicine and is looking for a DVM who is committed to practicing at the highest level while building strong, lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 7:45am to 1:00pm. The clinic is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position working within the hospital's operating hours and scheduling is flexible.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will lead patient care from diagnosis through treatment while fostering meaningful client relationships. Responsibilities include conducting wellness exams, vaccinations, urgent care visits, dental care, spay and neuter procedures, surgery, acupuncture, regenerative and laser therapy, diagnostics, microchipping, behavior consultations, and DNA testing. The role involves utilizing advanced in-house diagnostics, interpreting laboratory results and imaging, and educating clients on preventative care and long-term health strategies.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited and Fear Free practice provides comprehensive services including urgent care, wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, acupuncture, regenerative and laser therapy, surgery, grooming, microchipping, diagnostics, DNA testing, and behavior consults. The hospital is equipped with advanced in-house laboratory equipment, digital full-body and dental radiography, and digital ultrasound. Diagnostic capabilities include blood and urine testing, anesthesia screening bloodwork, annual and senior wellness screenings, and specialized tools for diagnosing eye, skin, and urinary conditions. The facility allows for immediate diagnostic results and seamless sharing of digital imaging with specialists when needed, supporting timely and advanced patient care.

Team
The hospital team includes nine DVMs working alongside a collaborative paraprofessional staff in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The culture emphasizes mentorship, professional growth, internal specialty consultation access, and maintaining the highest standards of veterinary excellence while delivering compassionate care to the community.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
