Duties for our Dental Assistant (DA) Include:

• Welcome patients in the dental office
• Update medical history and consents
• Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Keep working area clean and organized
• Take impressions/scans
• Schedule additional appointments if needed
• Assist with taking radiographs
• Cross training for orthodontic assistant and sedations
