Daniel B. Krieg, Inc. is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in doing quality work to join our pavement maintenance team.

We perform commercial sealcoating, crack filling, and pavement maintenance, as well as prevailing wage highway and public works projects.

This job is outdoors, physical, and fast-paced. The right candidate will show up on time, work hard, and take pride in a job well done.

Starting Pay

$26 – $28 per hour + Benefits

PLUS opportunities to earn prevailing wage on public works projects.

What You'll Do

You’ll work with a small crew maintaining commercial parking lots and roadways throughout the region. Daily work includes:

• Sealcoating commercial parking lots (spray method)
• Filling pavement cracks
• Cleaning pavement with blowers and brooms
• Loading materials and maintaining equipment
• Working with a small crew to complete projects efficiently
• Opportunity to advance and work on prevailing wage highway and municipal work with higher pay

You will work outdoors and see the results of your work at the end of every day.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in summer heat
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation

Construction or asphalt experience is a plus, but we will train the right person.

Work Schedule

Season runs April through November

Your typical day will start between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM. Construction schedules are often weather-dependent, so flexibility is important.

Due to project schedules and weather conditions, overtime and weekend work are required during peak periods. While crews do not work seven days every week, team members must be available to work overtime and Saturdays and Sundays when project schedules require it.

We are also open to summer seasonal employees (June–August).
