Job Summary
Job Description
Our client, a professional services firm in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join and support its four-person Help Desk team. This role is responsible for providing technical support across the organization, assisting staff with hardware, software, and mobile device issues while maintaining excellent customer service and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and mobile devices
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, etc.)
Support and assist with video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
Maintain equipment inventory and technology assets
Document support requests and resolutions within the firm’s ticketing system
Ensure adherence to internal IT procedures and documentation standards
Collaborate with team members to provide efficient technical support
Travel periodically to other firm offices as needed for support or office expansions
Provide occasional schedule flexibility to cover planned or unplanned PTO
Qualifications
Strong experience supporting Windows 11 environments
Experience with Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook and Word
Experience with iManage document management system strongly preferred
Excellent customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
