Staff Pharmacist – Van Nuys, CA

We are seeking a California-licensed Staff Pharmacist to join our independent community pharmacy in Van Nuys. This is a great opportunity for a patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a neighborhood pharmacy setting and building meaningful relationships with patients. This role blends retail pharmacy operations with clinical services, allowing you to make a direct impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions
• Provide patient counseling and medication therapy support
• Administer immunizations and other clinical services
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
• Ensure compliance with California Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Build strong relationships with patients and referral partners to expand pharmacy services

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Active California Pharmacist license, no previous violations on file
• Immunization certification
• Experience with prescription filling and pharmacy operations
• Strong knowledge of drug information and prescription dispensing

Preferred Qualifications

• Clinical pharmacy operations experience
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) experience
• Medication safety
• Experience administering immunizations
• Strong commitment to patient safety and problem resolution
