General Manager - Site Leader

Romark Logistics is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Lancaster facility, a 610,000+ square foot, 70-degree, highly automated distribution center with approximately 125 employees.

This is a high-visibility site within the customer’s broader network and serves as a showcase operation for automation. The General Manager has full ownership of the facility, with responsibility for operational performance, financial results, leadership alignment, workforce engagement, and customer partnership.

This role requires both strong operational command and disciplined leadership. The Lancaster site is well established and operationally sophisticated, and it requires a leader who can reinforce high standards, strengthen leadership alignment, drive automation adoption, and establish consistent accountability across all levels of the organization.

The successful candidate will lead with clarity, fairness, and reliability while building a cohesive, high-performing leadership team focused on measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and accountability for site safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and financial performance
• Lead optimization and disciplined adoption of advanced automation systems to maximize throughput and efficiency
• Establish and reinforce a structured operating cadence supported by clear KPIs and performance reviews
• Align labor planning and automation capability with volume forecasts and customer requirements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance cost control, service reliability, and operational consistency
• Develop, coach, and align a multi-layer leadership team to strengthen accountability and succession readiness
• Standardize business processes to reduce variability and elevate execution standards
• Maintain disciplined budget oversight and financial management of site operations
• Serve as a visible and credible leadership presence with onsite customer partners

Required Experience

• Eight or more years of progressive warehouse or distribution leadership experience
• Five or more years in a full site-level GM or equivalent leadership role with P&L ownership
• Experience leading complex, multi-functional warehouse operations, within automated environments
• Experience improving productivity through process optimization and structured performance management
• Proven ability to align and develop leadership teams
• Strong analytical capability, including experience using KPIs and operational data to drive decisions
• Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite (MS Office, Excel). warehouse management systems and RF Applications

• Exceptional communication skills and a hands-on management approach that encourages change and creative problem-solving.

• Experience leading automated distribution operations

• Experience leading complex operations with high service expectations

• Experience driving structured change management initiatives

• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma practices a plus.

• Experience in food-grade or regulated distribution environments
