Heavy Field Service Technician

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of heavy equipment at various customer locations to restore units to safe and fully operational condition.
• Communicate effectively with sales staff, coordinators, managers, and customers to provide updates on equipment status, potential downtime, and repair progress.
• Perform service work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring efficiency and minimizing equipment downtime.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards while working on-site and while operating company vehicles compliant with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations.
• Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for both technicians and customers.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical training/education, and/or experience in a related field
• Possessing or the ability to obtain a complete line of tools, including specialized tools needed to complete jobs at customer locations
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Clean driving record
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
