Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Westerville, OH is seeking an experienced Imaging - Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a full-time day shift opportunity. This role offers a dynamic work environment where your expertise in imaging technology will directly contribute to quality patient care and successful procedural outcomes. Schedule/Hours: 40 hours per week Day shift: 07:00 AM to 5:30 PM On-call every 3rd weekend (12 shifts in a 6-week period) Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality interventional radiology imaging procedures in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams. Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accurate calibration and timely troubleshooting. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff. Assist in patient positioning, monitoring, and preparation pre- and post-procedures. Document procedures accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist with specialization in Interventional Radiology (preferred). Proven experience in performing interventional imaging procedures. Strong understanding of cross-sectional imaging techniques and contrast media administration. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
